PURPOSE OF BYLAW 2021-02: To consider an application to amend Land Use Bylaw 2015-09, Part VIII “Land Use District Map”, by re-designating Quarter Section S1/2 of the NW1/4. Section 17, Township 33, Range 33, West of the 4th Meridian in the Town of Trochu, from Arterial Commercial district (C-1) and Single-detached Residential district (R-1) to the following redesignations as shown on the plan below:



A Public Hearing will be held virtually at the following link:

The meeting will commence on April 12th at 6:10pm.  Council will hear from any person claiming to be affected by the proposed bylaw. The time limit of oral presentations is subject to the direction of the Chairperson. Persons wishing to submit a letter, petition or other communication concerning these matters in advance of the Public Hearing, may do so provided they are legibly written.  Submissions will be received up to April 12th at 4:00pm.  Submissions should be emailed to or addressed to: 222 Northfield Road, Box 340, Trochu, Alberta, T0M 2C0.

A copy of the proposed bylaw may be viewed HERE or during regular office hours, from 8:00am to 4:30pm at the Town of Trochu at 222 Northfield Road, Box 340, Trochu, Alberta.

This notice is given pursuant to Sections 606 and 692 of the Municipal Government Act.
