Alberta Women’s Institutes District Five members proudly present their Annual Spring Conference, April 28th at the Trochu Community Centre.
Their Guest Speaker is Kimberly Dornan, a genetic councilor for breast and ovarian cancer.
Admission is $5.00 and lunch is $15.00.
Registration is 8:00AM to 9:00AM, lunch is 12:00PM, guest speaker is at 1:00PM

Historically we have always suggested that if you would like to have a spring garage sale this would be a good weekend to have it, as “Kick It to the Curb” will be held the following weekend and the furniture bins will be here until June 2 to ensure disposal of furniture items that were not sold in a garage sale or picked from the curb.

The Toxic Waste Round Up includes household chemicals, old paint, solvents, old fire extinguishers & detectors, and lawn & garden chemicals. So take a few minutes and clean up those basement shelves, garages, and garden sheds for a cleaner environment for our community.
