With the increased presence of COVID-19 in Alberta, The Town of Trochu is taking every precaution to ensure the health and safety of our staff and residents, and have implemented processes and protocols to maintain all essential services during this time.

Please remember–to protect yourself and others, stay home if you’re sick, wash your hands often, avoid touching your face & get information from reliable sources.

Trochu Closes Facilities

As of March 17th, 2020 Town of Trochu Arena and the Trochu Municipal Library are closed until further notice.

Town Office (222 Northfield Road) will be closed to the public as of 4:00 PM Wednesday March 18th, 2020

Town staff will continue working if you need to make an appointment or have any questions please call 403-442-3085 or e-mail cao@townoftrochu.ca. Payments can still be made online, or dropped through our mail slot.

Town Office will remain open to the public until 4:00 PM March 18th, 2020. However, anyone experiencing cough, fever or sore throat, those who have recently travelled by air, and those that may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus are asked to postpone their business at the Town Office.

Essential services will not be disrupted.

Town of Trochu is carefully monitoring the COVID-19 health risk for any new developments and will follow protocols in accordance with Alberta Health Services’ (AHS) recommendations. We thank you for your patience during these extraordinary circumstances. Please watch for more updates.
